These captive cage nuts are used widely in the datacommuniction and telecommunication industries where the cage nuts are "clipped" into 19 inch vertical support rails to accomodate and support electronic equipment. M6 is the standard size,please contact our sales office should you require M5 cage nuts.


The Cage nuts combine the best advantages of spring steel fasteners with the high strength of a multi-threaded nut. The Cage Nuts snap easily into position without the need for special tools. The nut floats within the cage to offset normal hole misalignment.
